A.W.Bell's in-house SOLIDCast and FLOWCast analysis software allows on-site simulation and optimization of the flow and solidification of molten metal during casting processes. The results can then be analysed to determine changes to be made to runner systems, gating and pouring techniques. This helps reduce leadtimes and scrap due to casting defects such as porosity and cold-shuts.

Our in-house processes allow for various levels of finish and accuracy to provide cost-effective solutions for our customers. Sand castings allow moderate to very complex shapes to be produced more effeiciently than fabrication. Investment castings provide superior dimensional and surface finish qualities to sand castings. Machining and other finishing of sand or investment castings can provide extremely fine tolerances.
